A Wellness-Inspired Gift Guide

Looking for some holiday gift ideas that will help your family and friends live their best lives? I’ve got you covered! These are a few of my favorite items ever, and it just so happens that they’re wellness-inspired.

I should note that none of this is sponsored, nor do I have an affiliation with any of these companies. These are genuinely either things I’m loving, or things that are on my wish list. I hope it helps you with your shopping this year!

AG1

$99 for one-time purchase, or $79/month for a subscription

I’ve been using Athletic Greens (now called AG1) for almost a year, and I’m a huge fan. It’s a powdered vitamin mix that is the holy grail of nutritional supplements. It has 75 different vitamins, minerals, and whole-foods nutrients. You just mix one scoop in eight ounces of water, and you’re good to go for the day. I love it because it’s third-party tested (the ingredients have are what they say they are) and because it also provides probiotics (which are good for your gut), adaptogens (which help regulate stress), superfoods, and antioxidants. Pro tip: store it in the refrigerator to prolong the life of the probiotic component.

Cultivate What Matters 2023 One-Year PowerSheets Goal Planner

$62

This is my absolute favorite yearly goal planner. It gives you prompts to brainstorm, determine what you want to achieve, and set your priorities. I love how it breaks your goals down into different areas of your life (health, friends, family, etc.), and it helps organize your big picture ideas into discrete actionable items. It’s also so motivating to think about WHY you want to achieve your goals and the intentions behind them.

Vitruvi Essential Oil Diffuser

$123 ($86 for Black Friday)

I love this diffuser because it looks like art! I have it in our bathroom and it’s an amazing way to rejuvenate your senses. You fill it with water and add any essential oils (my favorites are eucalyptus and lemongrass). I’ve had mine for years, and it makes our bathroom smell like a spa every day. It also comes in some really fun colors.

One Cookbook by Lille Biesinger

$60

This and Lillie’s other cookbook, Planned, are my two go-to recipe books for healthy weeknight meals. You’ll get a hard copy of the book, plus a digital version. The recipes are all easy to make, super delicious, and healthy. If you track your meals with the My Fitness Pal app, you can scan each recipe into the app for easy tracking. Some meals I’ve loved from this cookbook are stacked chicken and cauliflower enchiladas (my favorite), creamy cauliflower spaghetti squash casserole, and white chicken chili.

Ritual Non-Alcoholic Spirits

$30 for one or $120 for a pack of all four flavors

If anyone you know is alcohol-free or doing Dry January, Ritual is amazing. They’re non-alcoholic versions of tequila, gin, whiskey and rum, and they are fabulous in mocktails and are either calorie-free (tequila and gin) or just ten calories (whiskey and rum). I like to mix the tequila with sparkling water and lime for a “ranch water” alternative, or I’ll mix the gin with a tonic water for a “G&T.” Delicious, and completely guilt-free.

Higher Dose Infrared Sauna Blanket

$599 ($479 for Black Friday)

By now you know that sauna use has many health benefits and that frequent use can even extend your life, right? If not, read this blog. Admittedly this sauna blanket is a splurge, but it’s is on my wish list. It heats up to 158 degrees, and it gives you all the benefits of a sauna without actually having to, you know, install a sauna.

State Change by Robin Berzin, MD

Hardcover $17.79

This is the best health-realated book I read this year! It’s perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about a functional medicine approach to health. Robin Berzin, MD is the founder of Parsley Health, a functional medicine company, and her book gives you actionable tips about how to improve your overall wellness and optimize your life to achieve your best flow state. I couldn’t recommend this book enough for the reader in your life…or for you!

Lululemon The Reversible Mat 5mm

$88

This yoga mat has made a huge difference in my practice, and I truly look forward to using it! The texture is perfect – not too sticky and not too slick, and I’ll never go back to buying yoga mats from anywhere else again. It would work great as a workout mat for the gym as well, especially for bodyweight or floor exercises.

Stanley Quencher 2.0 Flowstate Tumbler 40 oz

$40

This is the water bottle that keeps selling out, and it’s recently been re-stocked. The Wall Street Journal even had an entire article about the cult popularity of this water bottle, which is saying something. It keeps your water cold (or hot) for hours, and it has a straw, which I love. The biggest draw is that even though it’s huge, it’s tapered at the bottom so it can fit in a car cup holder. It’s definitely the “it” water bottle this year!

Cozy Earth Loungewear

$185 ($129.50 for Black Friday)

We all know the importance of good sleep, and that your body temperature should drop as you drift off. This pajama set sleeps cooler than cotton, so it’s the perfect gift. It’s made from viscose from bamboo, which is stretchy and breathable, and was awarded one of Oprah’s Favorite Things, so don’t take my word for it.

Oura Ring Gen3

$449 ($399 for Black Friday) plus $5.99/month membership

I’ve been using my Oura ring for over a year, and I love it so much that I got one for my husband as well! It tracks the amount of sleep, as well as the type of sleep (REM, deep, light). It’s easy to use, and it gives you guidance about how well your body has recovered overnight using your heart rate data. There are so many features, from activity and temperature tracking to meditations, that I think it’s a valuable tool despite being an investment initially.

TB12 Pliability Training Kit

$115 ($92 for Black Friday), $20 for the TB12 Method book

As we age, our bodies become more prone to injury, making cardio and resistance training less effective and safe. Pliability is one way to fix that. These bands are a simple way to optimize your home gym for pliability exercises. After hearing so much about these resistance bands (especially from the famous functional medicine physician Mark Hyman), I decided to try them. The bands come with a set to attach them to any door, and I’ve been doing the exercises from the TB12 Method book. The goal is time under tension, and pliability definitely achieves that!

Massage Gift Certificate

Who doesn’t love a massage? Massage is a fantastic way to promote healing and stress relief. This is a gift card that will never go to waste!

Gina Method Subscription

The best wellness gift of all is free haha! If you’ve found this gift guide helpful, let me know in the comments, and please share my blog with whomever you think might be interested! Happy holidays!!
